Her story
My name is Hala Hamdi Albasyouni. I am 18 years old, from Gaza. I achieved a 98.7% score in my high school exams. But behind this number is a story of pain, fear, and survival.
I studied under the sound of bombings, through fear, displacement, and after losing our home and everything we owned. For me, education is not just a goal. It is my only way to survive and build a future.
My dream is to study Dentistry at Al-Azhar University in Gaza. Not only to achieve my ambition, but to help heal others, ease their pain, and bring back even a small reason to smile.
